Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of BacklinkBees (the "Service"), a marketplace where members buy, sell, and exchange backlinks with verified publishers. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or agency, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization.

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
• One person or organization may not hold multiple accounts to evade limits, suspensions, or these Terms.

2. The platform

BacklinkBees provides one account with three ways to work: buying placements, selling placements on websites you manage, and exchanging links with other verified members. Every listed website is reviewed before it appears in the marketplace, and metrics shown on listings, including Domain Rating and traffic estimates, are sourced from third-party tools such as Ahrefs. Those metrics are provided for information only; we do not guarantee their accuracy or any search ranking outcome. Agencies, resellers, and freelancers may participate on either side of a transaction, provided the sites they list comply with Section 5.

3. Buyer terms

• When you place an order, you submit the anchor text, target URL, and any content for the placement. You are responsible for ensuring they are lawful, accurate, and non-infringing.
• Your payment for an order will be held and released to the publisher only after the link is published and verified live. You do not pay for a link that never goes up.
• If a publisher declines or fails to fulfil an order, the order is cancelled and you are not charged for it (or amounts already paid are refunded through the original payment method).
• If a verified link is later removed or materially changed, you may open a dispute from the order page. We review disputes and may refund, require re-placement, or take other corrective action.
• Orders are fulfilled by independent publishers. BacklinkBees facilitates the transaction and verification but is not the publisher of the placement.

4. Publisher (seller) terms

• You may list only websites you own or are expressly authorized to manage. We may ask you to demonstrate that authority.
• Listings go live only after our review. We may reject or delist any site at our discretion, including for thin content, artificial traffic, or inflated metrics.
• You set your own prices and you decide what you publish. You must fulfil accepted orders within the agreed timeframe and keep placed links live for the agreed duration.
• Earnings are credited to your account once a placement is verified live. Payouts follow the method, schedule, and any minimum threshold shown in your dashboard.
• Deliberately removing paid or exchanged links early, without cause, is a breach of these Terms and may lead to reversal of earnings, delisting, or account termination.
• Private blog networks, link farms, expired-domain networks, and sites with artificially inflated metrics are prohibited.

5. Link Exchange terms

• Link Exchange is a subscription feature. Plans differ by the Domain Rating range you can browse, whether traffic data is visible, and how many exchanges you can complete per month. Current plans and limits are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard.
• Exchange access is activated on your account by our team after signup. During the launch period, access is free for your first 3 months, with no card required. We will notify you before any billing begins.
• Exchanges are structured as deals: you propose the links each side gives and receives, and either side may counter until both accept. Accepted legs count against your monthly exchange quota based on the links you receive.
• Our deal engine enforces non-reciprocity: it will not allow two websites to link directly to each other, within a deal or across deals. Attempting to circumvent this protection is a breach of these Terms.
• A deal completes only after each agreed link is placed and verified live. Removing an exchanged link after completion, without cause, may result in reversal of the exchange, loss of Exchange access, or termination.
• Exchange communications must stay on the platform. Contact details shared in deal messages or deal fields may be automatically redacted.
• All quality rules in Section 4 apply equally to sites used in exchanges.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• Subscription prices are shown before you subscribe. We will give you clear notice before the free launch period ends and before any charge is made; no card is collected during the free period, so you cannot be charged by surprise.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be billed after that.
• If we change subscription prices, the change applies from your next billing period and we will notify you in advance.

7. Fees, payments, and taxes

Placement prices are set by publishers. Any platform or payment-processing fees are disclosed before you complete a transaction; there are no hidden fees at checkout. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases, earnings, or use of the Service, and publishers are responsible for reporting their own income.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• publish, order, or solicit content or links that are illegal, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, or harmful;
• manipulate metrics, misrepresent a website, or operate private blog networks or link schemes designed to deceive search engines or other members;
• take transactions off-platform to avoid fees, verification, or the protections these Terms provide, or solicit other members to do so;
• harvest data from, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service;
• use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial outreach;
• circumvent quotas, tier limits, the non-reciprocity engine, or any moderation decision.

9. Content and intellectual property

BacklinkBees, its branding, and the Service are owned by us or our licensors. Content you submit, including listings, order content, and messages, remains yours, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process it as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you submit.

10. Search engines and risk

Link building is subject to the policies of search engines, which change over time and are outside our control. We enforce quality and non-reciprocity rules to reduce risk, but we do not and cannot guarantee rankings, traffic, indexing, or that any practice will be treated favorably by a search engine. You are responsible for how you use links in your own marketing.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that third-party metrics are accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BacklinkBees will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us through the Service in the three months before the claim arose and USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects statutory rights you hold as a consumer in your country of residence.

13. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold BacklinkBees harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from content you submit, websites you list, your transactions with other members, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or its members, or remain inactive for an extended period, and we may unwind transactions entered into in breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will notify you and give you a chance to respond. Sections 9 through 17 survive termination.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and close your account.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BacklinkBees is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.

17. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and BacklinkBees regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
