Our story
A community initiative, fourteen years in the making
BacklinkBees began as a community initiative from link builders. Most of us met in the trenches: the Facebook groups, Slack workspaces, and Twitter threads where link builders have traded opportunities since 2012. For fourteen years we did it the manual way. Outreach emails by the hundreds, silence in return, spam folders, and spreadsheets to track whatever survived.
Through all of it, one thing stayed true: the genuine need, and the genuine people. We kept meeting in Slack communities, link building forums, industry events, and online discussions, and we grew up together. Many who started out as freelance link builders are now founders of their own companies, enterprise marketing leaders, CMOs, and CXOs. The platform this community deserved did not exist. So we built it, and folded everything we learned over those years into one verified marketplace. This is our humble initiative for backlink exchange, and it is only the start.
